Peanut Butter Cookie

These quick and easy peanut butter cookies are perfect for beginner bakers and delicious every time!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven:
    Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  2. Mix the dough:
    In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.

  3. Shape the cookies:
    Roll the dough into 1-inch balls. Place them about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheets. Press down each ball gently with a fork to create a criss-cross pattern.

  4. Bake:
    Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the bottoms are just lightly browned.

  5. Cool:
    Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  6. Enjoy!

For a softer cookie, slightly underbake by removing them from the oven as soon as the edges start to set. Also, chilling the dough for 15-20 minutes before baking helps the cookies hold their shape better.
